  • How long does it take to get my underground oil tank removed?

    • First, upon acceptance of our proposal, it can take approximately 3-4 weeks to schedule your removal depending upon the availability of your permit with the town. Once on site, the removal of the tank typically takes only a couple hours. Existing site obstructions and weather conditions can affect the duration of time on site.

  • What happens if my tank leaks?

    • If a discharge is observed during the removal process or tank investigation, the property will be called into the NJDEP and a case number is assigned. Hydroscience Group is a turn-key environmental services company and will guide you step-by-step through the process and help explain the options available to you during that time.

  • Will my insurance pay for my cleanup?

    • This depends on your Insurance Policy. As a rule of thumb, if groundwater is impacted by diesel fuel or heating oil, some coverage can be assumed.

  • Do any of your services come with warranties?

    • Yes, our carbon fiber straps come with a 25 year warranty as long as they’re installed per the manufacturers specifications.

  • During mold remediation, do I need to leave the house?

    • Depending on the scope of the project, the homeowner is typically allowed to remain on premise. Affected areas will be isolated during the remediation process. Hydroscience Group use all products that have been registered with the Environmental Protection Agency as an anti-microbial fungicide. Benefect© administered during the remediation process is a natural, botanical based disinfectant. It is suitable for use around children, pets, the elderly and chemically-sensitive individuals.

  • After initial call, how long does it take to have a technician come to my property?

    • Different matters dictate different response times, but Hydroscience Group will typically deploy a technician to your property w/in 1-2 days to conduct a site inspection. In urgent matters, me may be able to accommodate same day service.
